Pretty pink, pistachio & pearls

I do like a pretty pink and green colour scheme, throw in a few pearls and I'm in love!  Romantic and a little bit vintage, but with a fresh feel just perfect for a spring wedding.

Kellylouise didn't want to give away too much of her colour scheme with her wedding invitations, and so chose to have simple pocketfolds from my Vintage Pearls collection in a gorgeous dusky pink board & with ivory satin ribbon.  Her evening invitations were a pared down, flat version of the design, again in dusky pink and ivory.

The pink and ivory was carried through to the order of service booklets for the church service - still not giving anything away about the green!

And then, at the reception the wedding guests had their first glimpse of the whole colour scheme, with ivory & pistachio personalised place cards.

Kelly's table plan brought all the colours together, and looked amazing mounted on a vintage style mirror.

After the wedding, Kelly left this lovely message on my facebook profile:

Hiya Jo,
I am very happy with all that you have done for me over the last few months, I loved the day and evening invitations, the table plan, order of service, place cards. Everyone has said about them, I cant wait for photos from the photographer to send them to you of how it all looked at the venue. We had a lovely day and thanks for all that you did. I would definitely recommend you to others.
Mr and Mrs Davies

Congratulations Kelly & Martin!

Striking hot pink & black damask wedding stationery

I met Louise back last year, I had been recommended to her for wedding stationery (always nice!).

Louise was looking for a bold, striking design for her stationery to fit in with her hot pink and black themed black tie wedding celebration.  My Vintage Damask design fitted the bill perfectly, but with a square diamante buckle instead of the usual round.

She chose pocketfold invitations for the day guests, and flat layered cards for the evening.

On the day stationery included very simple, postcard size order of the day cards (a great alternative to an order of service for civil ceremonies).

Place cards in the classic tent style, with all the guests' names ready printed.

And a fabulous table plan mounted onto a mirror supplied by Louise.

After collecting her stationery Louise posted this lovely comment on my Facebook page.

"Jo has just completed my wedding stationery. It's truly beautiful. The quality and attention to detail is outstanding. Thank you so much xx"

Pretty Pegs for Place Cards

I got all excited today when my delivery of ribbons and other lovely things arrived.
Amongst the pretties were these gorgeous pegs, just perfect for attaching place cards to glasses - what do you think?

Makes a change from the classic tent fold style place cards, and adds a bit of height and interest to your table.

new items!

We've added three new items to our portfolio today . . . we hope you like them!

Save the date cards in both the Butterfly and Shabby Rose collections . . .

Butterfly save the date card

Shabby Rose save the date card
Save the date cards can be sent out as soon as you have booked the big day, often a year or more in advance!   Especially useful if you are getting married in the height of the holiday season. Just make sure that whoever you send them to makes it on to your final guest list.

We've also added one of our popular Luggage Label tags to the Shabby Rose collection

Shabby Rose luggage label
Luggage labels are great, versatile little cards.  Use them as save the date cards, informal invitations (perhaps for a hen night or engagement party), place cards, individual menus and even thank you cards.  The one pictured here doubles up as a menu and place card in one.
